Warwick Day is a community event to raise funds and food for the Peninsula
Food Bank. There are many more people these days that need food and the
important services of the Peninsula Food Bank. Port
Warwick Day will feature entertainment and activities for the entire family
to enjoy including the popular Farmers Market with its selection of produce, meat and baked goods vendors an to
kick off the holidays talented artisans will present beautiful hand-crafted items including
ceramics, jewelry, knitted scarves, photographs and more. Sponsored
by the Port Warwick Merchants Association, activities will include music by
the Retros a new and popular band, Matt Lockhart; a marionette show ‘Native
American Indian Pow Wow’ with Tee Pee, campfire an Indian Princess,
horses and more, and respected area artist Ron Neale, will create a ‘canstruction’ sculpture
from the cans of food brought to donate to the Peninsula Food Bank. Several promotions
are planned to support the Food Bank including A Scoop of Soup’ – for a donation of $15 you receive
a soup bowl and your choice of a scoop of soup from one of the participating
restaurants or a coupon for a scoop of soup at one of the participating Port
Warwick restaurants when you bring your bowl and coupon. Port
Warwick Day is chaired by Susan Bryant, Walk this Way, and Donna Croushore,
Creative Travel and Cruise. Participants should bring non-perishable food
items or make donations to the peninsula Food Bank. For information about Port Warwick

November 28 6pm Celebrate
the holidays at our festive tree lighting at the Styron Square Pavilion. The Port Warwick Merchants Association and The Port Warwick Conservancy have
joined together to make this a special evening for the entire family to
enjoy; Strolling music, children dressed as angels and holiday elves will welcome
Santa as he lights the holiday tree at Styron Square pavilion to welcome the
holiday season at Port Warwick. There
will be treats for children of all ages plus cocoa and hot apple cider from
Kelly’s Tavern, cookies and other holiday delights will make this
evening memorable – and the start of a new holiday tradition for our
